(Bismarck, ND) — A state ballot to legalize recreational marijuana appears to be going up in smoke. The North Dakota Monitor says voters rejected Measure Five 52-to-48 percent in early results. Other outlets are saying it’s still too close to call. If it is defeated, it will be the third time in six years that an adult-use cannabis measure has been rejected in North Dakota. Neighboring states Minnesota and Montana have already legalized recreational cannabis.
