(Sioux Falls, SD) — It’s that time of year for one of South Dakota’s most popular ice fishing tournaments. Ice Fish Fest will make its long-awaited return to Catfish Bay this weekend. Organizers have already been out testing the frozen waters for the event. The tournament features 30-thousand dollars in cash and prizes, including a five-thousand-dollar cash prize for the biggest fish of the day. Ice Fish Fest goes down this Saturday at Catfish Bay Water Ski Park in Sioux Falls. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m., and the tournament runs from 1 to 4 p.m. It’s 50 dollars per person to participate, and a fishing license is not needed.
