(Bismarck, ND) — State lawmakers are continuing to discuss a bill over property tax relief and reform legislation. Representative Mike Nathe says the committee is 95-percent in agreement on the bill after yesterday’s conference committee meeting. The proposed “skin in the game” amendment would require all residents to pay at least 25-percent of their primary residence tax obligation. Some residents have zero obligation, which Nathe has called unfair. Twelve meetings have previously been held over the measure and a 13th is looming.
