More Than 160K Hot Dogs Donated For Families In Need

(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakotans will have some major beef thanks to a donation of 168-thousand hot dogs. Yesterday, Feeding South Dakota received a truckload with the 23-thousand pounds of all-beef hot dogs. That’s worth a hundred-thousand-dollar gift made possible by the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation and Jorgensen Land and Cattle. Organizers say the protein-packed hot dogs will go directly to families facing food insecurity across the state through Feeding South Dakota’s programs. It comes at a critical time for the organization battling the effects of ongoing federal spending cuts.
