(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Health and Human Services department is confirming the state’s first case of measles since 2011. Officials say it’s an unvaccinated child in Williams County who has it. It is believed the child contracted the disease from an out-of-state visitor, according to health officials. The state reports an 81-percent vaccination rate among toddlers and just 90-percent among kindergartners.
