(Oglala, SD) — Authorities are still searching for a man wanted on felony charges in Nebraska and South Dakota. Cody Dittman was identified as the suspect involved in a chase with tribal police in western South Dakota Friday that led to an officer firing at the vehicle. According to the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety, he may have returned to the Pine Ridge area on Sunday night. Police have asked residents to secure their homes and cars, and call 911 to report any sightings. Dittman is also wanted in Nebraska where he’s accused of assaulting and strangling a pregnant woman last Thursday before going to South Dakota.
