Sioux Falls Man Convicted In 2022 Murder Case

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Three years after shooting and killing a man, Darrian Johnson of Sioux Falls has been found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges. On September 5th of 2022, police found 26-year-old Kaisean Tyler shot to death at an apartment. During the week-long murder trial last week, witnesses took the stand and told the judge what they remembered from that night. The judge also found Johnson guilty of assault for crimes against a woman in the days leading up to the homicide. He’s also guilty of burglary and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
