Data Center Proposed To Go In Deuel County

(Toronto, SD) — One company is proposing a multi-billion-dollar data center to be built in Deuel County, South Dakota. Applied Digital, who’s wanting to build the center, says it would bring 200 jobs, as well as three-to-six hundred construction jobs. The company added that one of the main reasons they’re hoping to build near Toronto, South Dakota, is to use the state’s naturally colder winters to help cool the center.
