(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota tribes could see more tourism revenue. Governor Kelly Armstrong signed a bill for a new grant program to allocate 100-thousand-dollars to the state’s five tribal nations. The tribes will share the funding for tourism-related projects to help promote reservation sites. Supporting lawmakers believe the program will benefit regional economies from tribal and non-tribal areas working together to increase tourism spending.
