NDCPD Services Face Uncertainty After Federal Cuts

(Minot, ND) — The North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities could slow down or stop services. NDCPD laid off 23 employees because of uncertainty and delays in federal grant funding. Officials said they will now have to plan future services of their more than 20 programs for only three months at a time, as services are likely to slow down. The NDCPD offers North Dakotans services for housing, college access for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and infant development.
