(Yankton, SD) — One person is okay after emergency responders were called to the Missouri River in Yankton yesterday afternoon for a water rescue. Officials say a person was safely pulled from the river by Game, Fish and Parks personnel before a potential drowning occurred. The individual was brought to shore by boat, placed on a gurney, and taken away in an ambulance. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
