(Eagan, MN) — The NFL schedule was revealed Wednesday, with Minnesota opening the season in Chicago against the Bears September 8th on Monday Night Football. The first home game will be the following week against Atlanta on Sunday Night Football. The Vikings are scheduled to play seven nationally televised games, including four nighttime kickoffs. The team will also be the first to play back-to-back games overseas, playing Pittsburgh in Dublin on September 28th, followed by Cleveland in London the next week.
The Vikings schedule includes two Sunday Night games, one Thursday Night game, and a Christmas Day match-up against the Detroit Lions. In other team news, first round pick Donovan Jackson signed his rookie contract with the Purple yesterday.
