(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck woman is pleading not guilty to animal abuse charges. Rolanda Touche is accused of kicking, punching, and lifting a dog by its neck using a rope after police received a video of the incident in March. Authorities also say they received at least 38 separate calls related to animals at the woman’s residence since 2019. Touche faces charges of animal cruelty and animal abuse, with her felony jury trial scheduled for July 2nd.
