(Rapid City, SD) — A teen is behind bars, accused of murder after a weekend shooting in Rapid City. Police say 17-year-old Omariraine Red Bear is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Dakota Britthouer. The shooting happened Saturday morning on Wood Avenue, on the city’s north side. Investigators say the two knew each other, and this was not a random act. Red Bear is being held at the Western South Dakota Juvenile Services Center. The investigation is still ongoing.
