Twins Split Doubleheader With Guardians

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians both picked up a win during a doubleheader at Target Field. Kody Clemens had a walk-off double for the Twins in a 6-5 win in game one. Cleveland scored three runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game before Clemens knocked in the game-winner. Minnesota couldn’t figure out Gavin Williams during a 5-1 loss in game two. The Twins had just three hits in the losing effort, while Chris Paddack was charged with the loss. Minnesota is in second place in the AL Central at 27-and-22. The Twins host Kansas City tomorrow night.
