(Helena, MT) — The stack of rejected bills passed by the Montana Legislature is piling up. Governor Greg Gianforte recently vetoed two bills related to health care, but he said no because of budget-related issues. Gianforte has now vetoed at least 30 bills from this session, but these last two passed both chambers with two-thirds support. Lawmakers will have the opportunity to vote by mail and make the bills law if they choose. There are at least ten veto override polls being sent out to lawmakers.
