(Golden Valley, MN) — Golden Valley-based General Mills is expected to make a large amount of layoffs following what the company calls a 130-million dollar “transformation.” The company submitted a filing to the SEC this week revealing it approved a “multi-year global transformation initiative.” It is expected to cost the company 130-million dollars by 2028, with 70-million coming in the current quarter. General Mills is the 37th biggest employer in the state at over three-thousand workers.
