(Beulah, ND) — A new minerals processing facility will be built in Beulah. Talon Metals and Westmoreland Mining are partnering to transport metal ore mined in northern Minnesota to the old Beulah mine. The ores will be processed into nickel and key minerals at the new Beulah Minerals Processing Facility, which is expected to create around 150 jobs. Upon receiving permits from the state of North Dakota, the new plant is expected to break ground by 2027.
