(Tampa, FL) — The Minnesota Twins had just six hits during a 5-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in the rubber match of their three-game series from Steinbrenner Field. The Twins went 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. Pablo Lopez was charged with his third loss after surrendering four runs on seven hits in five innings. Minnesota is tied for second place in the AL Central at 30-and-25. The Twins visit Seattle tomorrow night.
