(Grand Forks, ND) — Grand Forks officials are breaking ground on a new aviation center. The University of North Dakota Flight Operations Center will consist of a 28-thousand-square-foot facility valued at 36-million-dollars. The project adds new technology and expands the center’s overcrowded space. A new dispatch center, bookstore, and event space are also part of the plans. Construction is expected to take 18 months to complete, with crews starting next month.
