(Minot, ND) — Two declared candidates are submitting signatures to run for the next mayor of Minot. Josiah Rosie and acting Mayor Mark Janzter submitted enough signatures to appear on the upcoming special election ballot. Minot officials will review the submissions to confirm each candidate received 300 verified signatures. City council members Rob Fuller and Paul Pitner have yet to submit their signatures. The deadline is 4 p.m. on June 2nd, with the special election scheduled for August 5th.
