Rapid City Police Makes Multiple Arrests In Retail Theft Sting

(Rapid City, SD) — Rapid City Police is cracking down on retail theft after a recent sting operation led to multiple arrests. On May 30th, officers arrested Jill Kerstiens after she left Walmart with more than six thousand dollars in unpaid items. At Scheels, Daniel Hurley was taken into custody for stealing shoes and carrying meth. And Jessica McKittrick of Box Elder was arrested for theft and meth possession after an incident at Boot Barn. Police say the operation is part of an ongoing effort to target repeat retail offenders.
