Authorities Warn About Another Scam Targeting Social Security

(Mandan, ND) — Another scam has authorities warning North Dakotans to be cautious. Mandan Police say a victim was contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of the Social Security Administration. The person requested sensitive information, including bank details and social security numbers. Police again remind residents that most government and bank institutions will not call without warning to gain sensitive information.
