(Bismarck, ND) — State officials want to protect children from sexual material. A new law will require websites to administer age verification for their users in the state. The National Library of Medicine says around 42-percent of children between the ages of 10 and 17 have viewed online pornography at least once. North Dakota’s new law is set to go into effect on August 1st. However, a pending Supreme Court case will decide if any state can legally require pornography websites to verify ages.
