The state has identified 34 cases since the start of the year, adding to the country’s current total of one-thousand-and-88 cases. This marks the first time the state has led the country in an infectious disease outbreak since fall 2020. North Dakota’s four-point-three cases per 100-thousand people now stand alone nationwide.
