(Mandan, ND) — Mandan is receiving loans to improve its water quality. The city is one of four cities and districts to be awarded a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan. However, city leaders received two loans for two separate projects. Four-point-five-million-dollars will help replace equipment at the water treatment plant, and an additional two-million-dollars will be spent on upgrading aging infrastructure throughout the city. The city became eligible for the loans after the Department of Environmental Quality put Mandan on its priority list.
