(Rapid City, SD) — A giant tortoise in South Dakota is hitting a big birthday this month. Orville, a 600-pound Aldabra tortoise at Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, is turning 120 years old. He shares the Tortoise Yard with a couple of younger pals that are 62 and 37. Staff say these gentle giants can live up to 150 years. Orville remains a fan favorite among visitors of all ages. Reptile Gardens is inviting the public to a birthday bash for him on June 26th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
