(Sioux Falls, SD) — Downtown Sioux Falls is gearing up for a busy Saturday as police prepare for big crowds and multiple events. It all kicks off at 10 a.m. tomorrow with the Pride Parade on 8th Street. Just a half-hour later, the Festival of Cultures gets going at the Levitt and runs through 5:30. Meanwhile, a protest is expected to draw up to a thousand people along Minnesota Avenue between 6th and 8th streets from 11 to 2. Up near the Premier Center, Tacos and Tequila and an Alison Krauss concert are set to draw thousands. Sioux Falls Police warns traffic will be tight, so plan ahead for parking or look for alternate routes. Extra officers will be on hand to keep things running smoothly, but officials expect most events to go off without issue.
