(Minot, ND) — Minot has a new police chief. The city council selected Michael Frye for the position in a unanimous vote yesterday. Frye is currently the chief of police at Bismarck State College. The council also voted to create a deputy chief position that will be offered to Captain Dale Plessas, who has served as acting chief since September. Plessas was also a finalist for the chief’s position.
