(Washington, DC) — Homeland Security Secretary and former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is in a Washington, D.C. hospital after reportedly having an allergic reaction. According to CNN, Noem was taken by ambulance yesterday afternoon. A DHS spokesperson says it was “out of an abundance of caution,” and she is alert and recovering. Several Secret Service agents were seen outside the emergency room. No further details have been shared at this time.
