DSU Celebrates Launch Of New Cybersecurity Clinic

(Madison, SD) — Dakota State University is stepping up its cybersecurity game with a brand-new clinic, thanks to a one-million-dollar grant from Google. The school cut the ribbon on the clinic yesterday, giving students real-world experience while helping local businesses and governments stay safe online. State leaders and alumni joined in the celebration, calling it a major step forward in fighting cyber threats. Congressman Dusty Johnson said it’s a big win for South Dakota. University leaders say the idea started with a smaller grant and grew into something much bigger. The clinic will run for up to six years and aims to boost digital security across the region.
