(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is getting more money in the national opioid settlement. Attorney General Marty Jackley says the state has received nearly two million dollars from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, part of a larger deal with Johnson & Johnson. So far, South Dakota’s total from this settlement has reached five million dollars, with more on the way.
