(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota farmers are struggling to purchase cropland. The state’s cropland prices are up ten-and-a-half percent compared to this time last year. Officials say the increased prices are caused by high net farm incomes, which in turn lead to higher demand. Although cropland net worth has increased, farmers are struggling to purchase more land. Reports also claim that since 2021, farmland prices have increased by 46-percent.
