Sen. Rounds Trusts Trump To Avoid War In Iran-Israel Conflict

(Washington, DC) — South Dakota U.S. Senator Mike Rounds weighs in on the Iran-Israel conflict, saying he trusts President Trump to avoid war unless absolutely necessary. Rounds, who’s also a member of the Senate Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, warns that Iran is close to having enough enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon. He says Iran remains a major threat, supporting terrorists and attacking both Israel and America. Rounds praised Israel’s strikes on Iranian air defenses but says he’s unsure if they are capable of hitting another key nuclear site.
