court news

(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man has been found guilty of murder. Jon Naveson was arrested last July for shooting and killing 52-year-old James Jorgenson during an incident at a downtown bar. The suspect claimed self-defense. However, a jury found Naveson guilty of felony murder, terrorizing, and reckless endangerment for his actions last Friday. He will now wait for official sentencing in August.
