(Minot, ND) — More Minot businesses are complying with tobacco sale laws. Authorities conducted random checks at 51 businesses in the Magic City to verify that minors aren’t able to purchase tobacco products. Police say three businesses were cited for violations in the recent round of checks, compared to 13 violations earlier this year. However, two of the businesses received their second offense within the past year, which requires a seven-day suspension of their tobacco license.
