Burdick Job Corps Center Returns Students During Nationwide Pause

(Minot, ND) — Students are returning to a Minot Job Corps campus. Officials at Burdick Job Corps say students are back in class after the Department of Labor told all locations nationwide to pause operations by the end of June. Workforce Development Specialist Tom Ross said directives from the Burdick contractor told them to call students back to the campus. At least 40 students have returned, with more students expected soon. Recently, a federal judge ordered the Department of Labor to keep Job Corps centers open while a lawsuit is resolved.
