(Sioux Falls, SD) — A convicted killer gets even more prison time for attacking another woman before the murder that put him behind bars. Amir Beaudion is already serving life for killing Pasqalina Badi in 2020. Now, a judge is giving him 50 more years for attempted kidnapping and aggravated assault. Prosecutors called Beaudion a predator of women, pointing to security footage showing him forcing his way into a woman’s car in a Hy-Vee parking lot, threatening her with a knife. He ran off when the car’s security system kicked in. That attack happened just days before Badi’s murder. Beaudion’s lawyers say he struggles with mental illness and addiction, but the judge called him a danger with little hope of rehabilitation. He’ll serve the new sentence on top of his life term.
