(Bismarck, ND) — Federal officials are granting thousands of dollars to four North Dakota airports. The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration announced the airports would receive part of a nearly three-and-a-half-million-dollar award through the Airport Infrastructure Grant program. Watford City, Mohall, Tioga, and Kenmare Airports were named to the list. Each airport will use the funding for upgrade expenses, including new safety equipment, replacing concrete, and water mitigation stations.
