(Bismarck, ND) — The deadline is extended to replace food purchased with SNAP benefits lost during last month’s severe weather. North Dakotans who were affected by storm damage or power outages on June 20th have more time to request replacement benefits. The state Health and Human Services department requested a disaster waiver to extend the deadline to July 21st. Residents in qualifying counties can submit applications online or in person at a human service zone office.
