(Rapid City, SD) — A mysterious mass fish kill stuns Rapid City over the weekend, leaving thousands of dead fish in Memorial Park pond. Crews spent the weekend cleaning up the dead fish that washed up along the shore, including some large catfish. Crawfish were seen clinging to the grass trying to escape the water. The cause of the die-off is still unknown, but state wildlife crews are on-site investigating through today. For now, the city is urging people to stay away from the shoreline and not to eat any fish caught from the pond.
