Six New Measles Cases Reported in South Dakota

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota now has a total of 12 measles cases with six new ones just reported. Health officials say eight of the cases are in Lincoln County, and the rest are West River in Meade and Pennington Counties. All of the individuals were either unvaccinated or unsure of their vaccination status, and most had recently traveled internationally.
