Billions In Federal Education Funds To Be Released For After-School Programs

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota will receive federal education funding for after-school programs. Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Education announced that one-point-three-billion-dollars in education dollars will be unfrozen. This comes weeks after a national lawsuit pressured the Trump administration to release roughly six-billion-dollars, which was frozen on June 30th. North Dakota will now receive over six-million-dollars to help fund after-school programming.
