Fargo, ND – Emerging Prairie, an organization committed to energizing communities through innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology, proudly announces the appointment of Angie Cooper and Jahmy Hindman to its Board of Directors.
Angie Cooper serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Heartland Forward, where she leads strategy, public policy, and programming across 20 states in the heartland region. With over 16 years at Walmart Stores, Inc. in public policy and government affairs roles, Cooper brings deep expertise in economic development, broadband advocacy, and public-private partnerships. In 2024, she was appointed to the U.S. Department of Commerce National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee.

Jahmy Hindman is the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Deere & Company (John Deere), where he oversees the company’s global technology strategy and engineering functions. He leads development of Deere’s intuitive “tech stack,” integrating hardware, software, data, and connectivity across the agriculture and construction sectors. Hindman has over 25 years of experience in artificial intelligence, advanced product engineering, and global innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and serves on several national academic and industry advisory councils.
