(Undated) — A new TV ad hits South Dakota airwaves warning about the possible privatization of the U.S. Postal Service. The American Postal Workers Union says it could mean higher prices, longer wait times, and more post office closures. Sioux Falls is already seeing some of the effects, with 14 postal counters in Hy-Vee and Lewis Drug stores set to shut down by the end of September. The union says rural states like South Dakota would be hit hardest and calls the push a “money grab” by big banks and corporate interests.
