U.S. Air Force, UND Aerospace Foundation Partner For Flight Training

(Grand Forks, ND) — The University of North Dakota and the U.S. military are partnering to address the pilot shortage in the country. The UND Aerospace Foundation and the U.S. Air Force announced the launch of a flight training program in Mesa, Arizona. The initiative’s goal is to have 150 pilots in the training program during a one-year span to help reduce the ongoing pilot shortage. However, longer-term contracts must be approved this summer to increase the number of students in training.
