(Rapid City, SD) — The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a deadly plane crash east of Rapid City Monday morning, killing one person and critically injuring another. It happened around 6 a.m. about two miles west of New Underwood and close to Interstate 90. One passenger died at the scene, while the other was airlifted to the hospital following a swift response from the New Underwood Fire Department. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
