Dairy Queen Serves Up Sweet Support for Miracle Treat Day

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Dairy Queen is ready for today’s Miracle Treat Day kicking off across the region. Thirty area DQ locations, including the busy Minnesota Avenue store in Sioux Falls, are serving up thousands of Blizzards with a purpose. One dollar from each frozen treat goes to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, including Sanford Children’s in Sioux Falls. District Manager Isaac Haase says they’ve already sold over five-thousand coupons and two-thousand pre-orders at just one location. Sanford’s Bethany Olson says the event raises around 150 thousand dollars annually, helping cover meals, lodging, and even equipment for young patients and their families. Folks can just buy a Blizzard, and Dairy Queen handles the donation.
