(Undated) — South Dakotans are finally waking up to calmer skies. The last round of severe weather brought more heavy rain and strong winds, capping off a week filled with weather alerts. Since Saturday, 160 warnings have been issued, including 19 for flooding. Some areas between Watertown and Ortonville saw over six inches of rain, and northwest Iowa was hit hard too. Things are finally starting to dry out, especially across East River. Western South Dakota may still see a few lingering storms, but overall, a quieter stretch of weather is ahead.
