Wildfire Smoke To Affect ND Again This Week

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakotans are advised to limit outdoor activity as the Canadian Wildfires pose more threats. The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality reports that air quality across the state may be hazardous to sensitive groups over the next few days. Residents with heart or lung condition and certain age groups should exercise caution when outside. NDDEQ officials say shifting wind patterns can cause sudden changes to air quality, and that keeping a close eye on the Air Quality Index is recommended.
